Your grammatical structure is impressive. Most people sort of string words along and pray that we get the gist of it. You’re not ruining our language, sweetie.
Propositions are the worst part of any language, in my opinion. When talking about boats, we’d say “on a cruise” instead of in. I mean, yes, we’re physically inside the ship, but we’re “on board” the ship, too. It’s just a matter of knowing what sounds right to the ear.
I butcher French whenever I try to write it, hurr.

In and on are the most difficult ones for me to use, ask my team leader here at work, lololol. Since in Spanish we use the propostion “en” for both cases… Well, you’d get my confusion.
I never knew that could be adapted to the sound of the phrase instead of its more or less correct gramatical use. Thanks!
