I honestly don’t even try being serious half the time.
Because when I know I’m not being serious, or even trying, it makes it easier not to let the things people say get to me, I guess.
The only reason I started roleplaying Mouri, did you know, was because people kept telling me how I act way too much like him in person. Because apparently I tend to come of as a cold-hearted, stand-offish bastard, or something?

In the beggining I was afraid of being stupid because I thought you’d get angry, lol. And being my favourite that was unbearable for me! I eventually managed to understand your words and ways and now I’m much more confident around you, though I still feel a bit paranoid about it, haha.
I understand that not being serious it’s somehow a defense mechanism, but you should be more confident about yourself. You’re a pretty smart, nice person and I know it’s easier said than done, but others’ opinions are not really that important… so you shouldn’t let them get you that badly.
