Character rant; Masamune and Kojuro

To each their own, But people need to read the manga and watch the anime. Date isn’t a self centered, egoistic, jerk wad, douche nozzle with six swords. He’s actually pretty sensitive and he cares about his subordinates, especially Kojuro.

Let’s not forget that he is in a leadership position. Those in places like him can afford to be cocky arrogant bastards; their jobs sort of call for it. But that definitely isn’t all he is, nor should it ever sum up his character.

And Kojuro, all I see is a guy who really REALLY REALLY admires Date. He’s smart and has qualities that Date lacks, such as the ability to properly interpret situations and to make calls with a cool head. He’s really smart and is the sort of person who seems to have that innocent naivety about him sometimes. But just because he is quiet and and almost completely opposite in character qualities to Masamune doesn’t mean he’s an obedient tool.

They are a great team together and are the perfect representation of … of.. awesome, ok? They are the very first pair I managed to Ship on my own! … but it’s just a Brotp.

Anyway, I digress. These characters are great. If you are going to talk about why you dislike them, it wouldn’t hurt to do it constructively. You can’t just hate them just because, and have people accept your reasons.
